Warren Neidich Artistic vibes Virtuoso

Warren Neidich, an American artist based in New York City and Berlin, creates thought-provoking conceptual works exploring the intersections of art, science, and cognitive justice. Through written texts, neon light sculptures, paintings, and photographs, Neidich’s works offer a cross-pollination of ideas.

As the founder and director of the Saas-Fee Summer Institute of Art, Neidich actively promotes “Cognitive Justice in Cognitive Capitalism.” This summer, the institute will delve into this theme in collaboration with The Brooklyn Rail and Residency Unlimited. Neidich’s impressive exhibition history includes prestigious venues such as the Venice Biennale, Whitney Museum of American Art, and P.S.1 MOMA, with shows across museums and galleries worldwide.

His impactful work has garnered extensive media attention, with over 150 magazine and newspaper articles dedicated to his art. Neidich has received notable awards, including the Stiftung Kunstfonds NEUSTART KULTUR (2020 and 2021), Hauptstadtkulturfonds (2021), and Katalogförderung des Berliner Senats (2017).
